We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, reporting, and analysis for our company and clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and client management. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial services.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for multiple clients.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
- Accounting Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, such as system implementations or financial restructuring.
Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
- Detailed knowledge potential system integrations to promote efficiency.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
