Zephrina Cazaubon CPA, EA
Founder/Managing Partner
Zephrina Cazaubon is the Founder and Managing Partner of ZMC & Associates, bringing more than 20 years of experience in financial services. She has provided both in-house and outsourced CFO services and has successfully launched and grown several accounting and financial businesses. Her success is built on her ability to form strong teams rooted in competence, collaboration, and shared values.
ZMC & Associates delivers payroll, accounting, tax planning, retirement, and insurance services. Through its partnership with JMR Financial Group, the firm extends its capabilities to provide comprehensive financial solutions, with both organizations aligned in their commitment to exceptional client service.
Prior to forming ZMC & Associates, Zephrina served as Chief Financial Officer for a global transportation and logistics company. Recognizing that many growing companies are not yet ready to hire full-time financial leaders at the C-suite level, she launched her own firm to provide outsourced expertise. Today, she continues to apply her executive experience to guide and support clients across diverse industries.
Zephrina is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Indiana and an accounting professional certificate from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Zephrina manages a distributed team of financial experts serving clients nationwide. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, traveling, and supporting charitable causes.

Nathan A. Madill, APA, CFP®, IAR
President/Secretary - JMR Financial Group
Nathan A. Madill serves as the President and Secretary of JMR Financial Group, leading the firm’s investment management, financial planning, and employee benefits departments. Based in Wisconsin and serving clients across the Twin Ports region of Minnesota and Wisconsin, Nathan brings more than 25 years of experience helping individuals and businesses grow their wealth and achieve long-term financial goals.
As one of the few individuals in Minnesota to hold an Accredited Pension Administration (APA) from the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA), Nathan is well-equipped to provide clients and retirement plan participants with expert financial strategy and service. For the past 25 years, he’s worked diligently to increase each of his clients’ net worth and ensure their distinctive financial goals are met.
Importantly, Nathan is a Certified Financial Planner, a professional designation awarded to advisors who prove their fluency in financial planning through rigorous coursework, hundreds of hours in continuing education, and an exhaustive examination.
Nathan’s B.S. in Accounting from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and his Series 65 Uniform Investment Advisor license serve as the solid foundation for his leadership role at JMR Financial Group. He is a proud graduate of the Blandin Community Leadership Program, an in-depth course aimed at helping local leaders build and sustain healthy communities. As an advocate for the expansion of Twin Ports-based businesses and non-profits, Nathan is a member of the Hermantown and Superior Chambers of Commerce.
When not working, Nathan enjoys hiking with his wife, Karly. Their favorite trails include Angel’s Landing and The Narrows at Zion National Park. Together, they’ve explored breathtaking landscapes from Canada’s Banff National Park to the United States’ Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks. Nathan also enjoys relaxing at the lake and spending time with his children: Trent, Megan, Lauren, and Bode. As a family, they mountain bike, golf, and play very competitive games of pickleball.
